Senior .Net Developer

Design, Develop, Deploy, and troubleshoot software applications developed in-house. Work with business stakeholders and IT resources to understand the business needs and develop applications using C# and .NET in both Silverlight/WPF and ASP front ends against a MS SQL server backed DB.  This may include Client Server Application development as well as web development for either our internally or externally facing web portals.  This includes gathering user requirements, developing, testing and documenting requirements throughout the project life cycle as well as operational support and enhancements.

Responsibilities:

·         C# Senior Level development skill using .NET 3.5 required

·         SharePoint 2010 development experience using ASP .Net or Silverlight required.

·         Full lifecycle application development including planning, designing, developing, testing, deploying and ongoing operational support required.

·         Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) or Silverlight experience desired.

·         Visual Basic .NET troubleshooting, debugging and support highly desirable.

·         Strong Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD) and exposure to MS Patterns and Practices highly desired.

·         Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.

·         Software analysis, code analysis and review, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, and software reliability analysis required.

·         Strong Front end graphical user interface design experience, must design impressive UI’s, required.

·         Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.

·         Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

·         Support, maintain and document software functionality

·         Integrate software and databases with existing systems

·         Work with managers and peers on Project Planning and Project Management

·         Maintain and adhere to coding, design and documentation standards and SOX compliance requirements as needed.

·         Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.

·         Take an active role in cross-departmental projects when needed.

·         Write and/or modify programming code to enhance functionality and/or appearance of company Intranet and Internet Web sites and Web applications as necessary.

·         Interact regularly with managers, clients, vendors, and agencies to field queries and questions.

Qualifications:

·         Strong customer-service orientation.

·         4 Year Degree in CS or CIS required.

·         5+ years C# and .NET 3.5/4.0 experience developing for both Client Server and Web environments using WPF/Silverlight and ASP .Net required.

·         Experience developing applications against MS SQL server using ADO .Net or LINQ to SQL classes required.

·         VB.Net experience debugging and modifying client applications highly desirable

·         SharePoint web part development experience a huge plus
